This is a gothic, horrorcore song from Will-Powerz at 140 BPM to capture the essence and energy of Grime with an injection of eerie gothic to evoke the spirit of Halloween. The vocals switch from a slow, deep flow to a fast-paced screamo style, ramping up the energy through each verse.
The basic concept is that of some dark presence trying to break through to the surface in a person's life. Take it as a literal enactment of demonic possession or a metaphor for a person's darkness lurking beneath the surface - however you interpret it, the vibe is perfect for a Halloween theme!
This sog has actually been several years in the making, and it was only after Will recorded his 2021 single 'Hell' that he discovered the vocal style he wanted to use for the vocals that were ready and waiting to be recorded. Initially, in 2020, he gave up on the song and just released the instrumental, but now the full version is here and we think you'll agree it was worth the wait!
