Will-Powerz took the original concept of the song and focused on the sadness and tragedy inherent in it, reimaging the track as an emo hip-hop song. He pitched it down to match his vocal tone and made it his own with a mournful lead guitar, addictive trap-style drums and beautiful accompanying instruments. The guitar solo at the end was provided by the inimitable Latent, who also stepped in with some strings throughout the track.
