Anyone who's followed Will-Powerz since the beginning will have heard his debut mixtape 'Volition'. If you're reading this, it means the mixtape is no longer available to download through any normal distribution service (Bandcamp included) but if you head over to the Latent's Records website (latentsrecords.com) you will find a link to get the full mixtape.
This version of Only The Good is a complete remake. The original instrumental has been replaced by a new beat made by Will-Powerz and Latent, and the feature of Gareth Paul in the chorus is no longer there. Will sings the chorus himself.
The song is about a loss that Will suffered in his late teens which opened his eyes to the reality of our mortality. It's a tribute to the memory of the deceased and the people whose lives they touched. It's a beautiful song with soulful melodies and powerful lyrics.
